Parents,
We have so many fun things planned this year and look forward to your student become a reader, writer, mathematician, and scientist this school year. Here are some reminders:
Please check your child's homework folder each night, as there are lots of hand outs each day that you need to see and read.
There is homework each night this week! Then there will be 4 decodable readers for the week. 1 for each day Monday-Thursday. Please have your student read the book once to you or another adult. Then have an adult sign it, and the student returns it the next day.
Please have students turn in September reading logs at the end of the month. (Monday, September 30th). (Colored paper with apples on it. This was given in the packet on back to school night). A reading long will be sent home each month.
We look forward to having a wonderful school year with your children.
Thanks for your support in your child's education.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Cortez, Mrs. Strachan, and Ms. Powell
